The Prince George’s County Preakness Celebration is a countywide initiative designed to celebrate Prince George’s County’s vibrant equestrian and horse racing heritage. It is a premier destination for vibrant culture and economic activity during Preakness week. With many unable to attend Preakness in person this year, we invite residents and visitors to participate in watch parties at many of our restaurants featuring themed menus, the Black Eyed Susan Cocktail and special events that extend the energy of Preakness across the County.
